Trump Unloads On Comey After Insane Post
Comey was quick to delete it, raising even more questions.

No holding back from Trump.
In a recent appearance on "Fox & Friends," President Donald Trump voiced serious concerns regarding a now-deleted Instagram post by former FBI Director James Comey, suggesting it contained a veiled threat against his life. The post, which featured a photo of seashells arranged to form the numbers "8647," was interpreted by Trump as a call for assassination, prompting an investigation by the Department of Homeland Security and the Secret Service (The Guardian, 2025).
Trump's comments came during a discussion about the post on Fox News, where he stated, "He knew exactly what that meant. A child knows what that meant. You're the FBI Director and you don't know what that meant?! That meant assassination, and it says it loud and clear." This incident has reignited tensions between Trump and Comey, who has a contentious history with the president, including his role in the FBI's investigation into Trump campaign ties to Russia and his controversial actions during the 2016 election.
NOW - President Trump just called out Comey for threatening his life: “He knew EXACTLY what that meant. A child knows what that meant. You're the FBI Director and you don't know what that meant?! That meant assassination, and it says it loud and clear.”

The numbers "8647" have been speculated to carry a sinister implication, with "86" often used as slang for "get rid of" and "47" potentially referring to Trump as the 47th President of the United States. While Comey has denied any malicious intent, stating, "It never occurred to me but I oppose violence of any kind" (ABC News, 2025), the ambiguity of the post and the context of Trump's presidency lend weight to his concerns. Trump has faced significant political opposition and personal threats, including two assassination attempts in the previous year, which heightens the sensitivity around such interpretations.
Here is James Comey’s post in question.
This is probably the craziest post I’ve ever seen from any government official. Current or former. Absolutely diabolical.
James Comey belongs in prison.

We understand where Trump is coming from. Given everything that’s happened, his reaction is more than a reasonable response to a perceived threat, especially given his high-profile role and the security risks he faces. The investigation by the Secret Service underscores the seriousness with which such claims are being treated, even if they stem from a misunderstanding, like Comey claims (as hard as it is to believe). For many, Trump's call for accountability reflects a broader desire for transparency and fairness in political discourse, particularly when it involves figures with significant influence like Comey.
The media's coverage of this incident has been polarized, with conservative outlets emphasizing Trump's perspective and the potential dangers, while other narratives might downplay the seriousness of the situation. This divergence reflects the current political climate, where Trump's claims are often scrutinized through a lens of skepticism. However, a sympathetic view would argue that his concerns deserve serious consideration, especially in an environment where political rhetoric can have real-world consequences.
As the investigation continues, it remains to be seen whether Comey will face any consequences. Obviously, one question still remains, why post that bizarre photo at all, and then delete it after? Regardless, Trump is right to fight back against this. For too long, deep state actors have been playing fast and loose with Trump’s safety. Just look at the Russia collusion hoax or his most recent campaign. It’s time to start holding these people accountable. Enough is enough. Trump's decision to highlight this issue has rightfully sparked a broader conversation about the responsibilities of public figures and the impact of their words and actions.
The next step now is accountability. And it’s something the American people have been waiting for a long time to see.
