Megyn Kelly’s fierce message to Trump.

Megyn Kelly isn’t holding back. The accomplished attorney and no-nonsense commentator has laid out a bold plan for how President Trump can correct the gross miscarriage of justice perpetrated by Democrats using lawfare—a term for abusing the legal system to wage political warfare. In Kelly’s words, “The only way to save the Republic now is to give them a taste of their own medicine.”

Kelly, with her sharp legal mind, makes a compelling case: If Democrats are willing to bend and twist the law to go after Trump, then it’s time for Republicans to fight fire with fire. The same tactics they’ve weaponized against a sitting president and former president could and should be turned on the likes of Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and other members of the Democratic elite.

“These Democrats will rue the day they decided to use lawfare to stop a presidential candidate,” Kelly warned. “We’re going to have to look at what the statutes of limitations are on the various crimes they surely committed. We’re going to have to look at passing laws to revive those dead crimes, felonies, or misdemeanors so that those cases can be brought out of time.”

The Democrats have set the precedent by manipulating the legal system to their advantage. From targeting Trump with endless investigations to reviving outdated laws just to go after him, they’ve shown there are no rules they won’t bend to destroy their political opponents. Kelly argues it’s time Republicans hold them to the same standard.

Take Hillary Clinton, for example. Despite her flagrant mishandling of classified emails, her dealings with foreign governments through the Clinton Foundation, and the questions surrounding her role in Russiagate, she has never faced real accountability. "I don’t care that Hillary is the wife of a president. She violated the law. She should be locked up alongside her husband,” Kelly said, pulling no punches.

And it’s not just Hillary. The Biden family’s corruption, particularly involving Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings and Joe Biden’s potential involvement, has been ignored by the media and brushed aside by Democratic allies. Kelly’s call for accountability doesn’t stop with Hunter—it goes straight to the top. “It’s not going to be Hunter Biden the next time. It’s going to be Joe Biden,” she emphasized.

Kelly also points out that what Democrats have done to Trump could just as easily be done to them. The legal tricks and procedural manipulations used to revive civil suits against Trump, like the law passed in New York to allow E. Jean Carroll to sue him decades after the alleged incident, set a dangerous precedent. Kelly believes Republicans should turn those tactics back on the Democrats.

“Turnabout is fair play,” she declared. “In the same way they changed the statute of limitation rules to go after Trump, Trump should do the same to go after corrupt Democrats who came after him.”

This isn’t about vengeance, Kelly clarified—it’s about justice. “Yes, the election was not about revenge, but it was about correcting the course of justice. It’s not retribution to lock up criminals who committed actual crimes.”

For too long, Kelly argued, there has been a double standard in how justice is applied. Democrats like Obama, Clinton, and Biden have been shielded by the establishment, while Trump has been endlessly vilified and pursued. That era must end.

Kelly’s warning is clear: If Republicans want to restore faith in the rule of law and the principles that make this nation great, they must hold everyone accountable, no matter how powerful or well-connected. “The only way they’ll learn,” she said, quoting legal scholar John Yoo, “is to give them a taste of their own medicine.”

This is not just about one man or one party—it’s about the survival of the Republic itself. Kelly’s message to Trump and the Republican Party is simple: The time for playing nice is over. It’s time to fight back, to pursue real justice, and to show the American people that no one is above the law—not even the Democratic elite.

Do you agree with Megyn Kelly that Trump should go after Democrats the same way they went after him?
